I don't watch any poplular TV shows. What am I missing?!
Question: I've never watched a full episode of any of the following:
Friends
Gray's Anatomy
ER
24
That 70's Show
The Sopranos
Actually, the only show I watch regularly is Heroes. But it's on hiatus due to the writer's strike.
What's so great about these shows and why would I want to watch them?

The shows are all amazing, and you would probably thoroughly enjoy them.
However, many of them require commitment, which is what steers me away from them. There are many times I must avoid watching shows that I know are good, simply because I do not care to schedule more of my time around a TV show to watch it.
I hate watching shows on TV. But if you ever get a lot of time, and some extra bucks (or a torrent), I'd take them out in one quick shot. It'd be totally worth it, and so liberating.
Well the only thing ive watched out of all of those is Friends, which is actually pretty good, but everything else i personally find boringgg..
These are the shows that I watch and why:
Friends is the kind of film that would cheer you up when you are unhappy, it is hilarious and very amusing to watch.
Grey's Anatomy is full of drama and love so it you like that kind of show I would recommend it, it also has many fit boys in to drool over lol.
ER is also full of drama and actually quiete interesting, yet again this tv show has some well fit boys in to enjoy watching.
I also watch heroes too, it is great!
well only watch (watched) Prison Break which is not included in your list!
I think you miss nothing!
Not all that much, in my opinion. the only things made now worth watching are "Lost" and "Moonlight". I don't even suggest starting on "Lost". It can get a bit dull and/or confusing at times, but you can download it at toptvlinks.net.
Now "Moonlight", which is a new show on CBS, is a horse of a different color. It's a show about a vampire named Mick St. John who is a private investigator. Very intriguing.
But as for the other shows on your list, your missing nothing. Only sex and romance and very tense stuff that gets your nerves boiling over. I don't even watch the stuff.

I liked Friends because it reminded me of my friends. It just made me laugh. I couldn't get into the other shows that you mention. I'm not someone who enjoys tv.
But check out Nip/Tuck. You should go back to the first season or you'll be lost. It's a great show. It has everything, good writing, good acting, good directing, etc. It has a real element to it so it's not completely out there.
