What do you think about the T.V show on Sunday Night on Fox 11, called "The!
Question: Do you think this show will miss up their relationship and family just for the $$$. Would you really tell your entired life to the world to try to get a million, but if you get ONE answer wrong, you lose everything...After all the truth you have revaild about yourself, and made yourself look like a fool, you don't get anymoney....I think it's crazy.

If you notice, most of the responders to this question say they don't like the show...their reasons?....fear of being honest. That is completely crazy to me that people are so afraid of taking an honest look at themselves and being willing to come clean and tell the truth. I think it is a great show. I think the reason our countries and the people in them are soo screwed up is for this very reason....NO ONE is honest, with themselves or with others. It has been said that this show will ruin lives, ruin relationships and people will lose their jobs due to the show. I think the show has nothing to do with it. If you don't want your life ruined, don't lie, cheat, steal, deceive, etc. to ruin it. If you don't want your relationship ruined, don't do anything dishonest or hurtful to the person you supposedly love. If you don't want to lose your job, then don't compromise your job by being a dishonest employee. Everyone is very quick to blame this show for the problems the contestants face after being exposed as a liar. When will society be held accountable for their own actions?
To CandyCane: They are asked the questions prior to the show yes. They are not told whether the answers they gave were deemed true by the lie detector test. The families don't know what the questions are and they have a chance to change the answers if they choose. They cannot reveal the questions they are asked to the families prior to airing. Just like on American Idol...I have a friend who auditioned and he is legally obligated not to disclose any information about the show or his status prior to airing...he did make it to Hollywood also, (Yay!!) but he couldn't tell us that until his episode aired. It is still a very interesting show in my opinion.
I love it! I think if people want to submit themselves to it then go for it, I just hope they get the money for their own sake! I would do it! I have nothing to hide!
I think that show is stupid and i would not go on that show. Yes i do think it would mess up some families just for money It is not the shows fault it is the people who go on it fault too.

I think the show is nuts! I mean come on, on national tv, you're airing your dirty laundry for what? To lose your spouse and choose the money. (Which will be taxed out anyways) Forget that! I think it's all fake and they're all actors. reality tv isn't reality no more. It's for ratings and it's dumb. this show will be over next season lol
It's like watching a train wreck! It's horrible but you have to look. I can see this program ruining some lives.

I love it, I don't know why but I do if people are willing to put their self out their for money and take a few risks than so be it. I'll be watching. Would I do it, maybe its good to be honest and healthy to let things out anyway. But the only thing is I don't believe in lie detector tests I believe that they can be wrong theirselves I remember I was watching the maury povich show and this guy was accused of cheating and he actually failed the lie detector test and then he said know do it again and I swear its wrong and they did and he passed the second time. So I don't think its always right
yes but they ask you very personal questions from your live and than you get paid I would not do this if I won million dollars
I think they should change this show from "the Moment of Truth" to "Who wants to ruin their lives on national tv?" Think about it. It's a lose-lose situation. They ask you, "Have you ever stolen from work?" Well if you answer truthfully yes then you've lost your job, and if you answer untruthfully no then you lose your job. Also, lie detectors don't necessarilly work. They work by detecting nervousness in sweat glands and/or voice patterns. Of course they'll be nervous they're on national tv! I can't believe people sign up for this show. It's absolutely rediculous.
I like the show but it f*cking annoying. More commercials than show, the long pauses between answers, I mean come on people let's get this show on the road!!!

I like the show, I think it is interesting and funny. I watch it every week, although where I live it is on Thursday nights at 9pm.
i think it is very entertaining! the questions do get very personal and intense, but its not like the contestants dont know what they are getting themselves into! i mean its a good concept, getting lots of money, just for telling the truth!
I have a very strong opinion about this show!! It comes on Wednesday nights on Fox in Texas. Here's my problem: THEY ALREADY KNOW THE QUESTIONS!! Everyone acts so surprised when he read the questions, like they've never heard it before, how could they answer THAT!!
WHATEVER!! You mean to tell me that if you were on the show, you wouldn't tell your wife/gf/mother/sister/husband etc. what they asked you??!! It's all Rigged!! R-I-G-G-E-D! The show should have a disclaimer, that says.."For dramatic purposes only!"
I love it, but I couldn't be a constant on that show. A million bucks is not enough money. What I don't understand is why the people look so shocked when they are being asked certain questions? They knew what was going to be asked ahead of time.
When you lose you end up looking like an *** because you have no money and just ruined you relationships with your friends, spouse and family.
