LOST! So in general what do you think is going on on the best show on TV?!?!
Question: I LOVE LOST! You can almost count on me asking your opinions sometime near to whent he most recent episode aired! Ya! I'm soooooooooooo glad the writers strike is over so we'll get Gossip Girl and LOST back at our fingertips! So anyway I have a lot of thoughts as to what is goint on in the show right now but in general what do youth think?

So anyway I have a lot of thoughts as to what is goint on in the show right now but in general what do youth think?
Not time travel but doorways. Charlotte Staples Lewis's character is inspired by C.S.Lewis. They even used his middle name. Daniel Faraday's character is a physicist inspired by 19th century Michael Faraday whose life work was electro-magnetism. Then there is this guy on the freighter whose name is George Minkowski. Hermann Minkowski was the first scientist to use the term space-time.Last season there was a character named Aldo who was reading "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking.It so happens that the page he was reading was about wormholes. The same book is in Ben's house. They are beating you over the head with clues. Then there is the polar bear in Tunisia out in the desert. Oh I left out Miles Strom the ghostbuster. The definition of a maelstrom is a violent turbulent situation,but the word itself came from Norwegian which described a whirlpool. I can't explain everything yet but this is a big part of what is happening. The submarine is a red herring. No one has traveled to or from the island via submarine in quite some time. If you have seen the series Stargate think Earthgate instead. These people can go anywhere they want to via the gates. But there is more. I think the technology was from an ancient technology and an ancient civilization. It was first discovered by the surviving crew members of the ship Black Rock. Maybe the island is haunted as well.
for "going on " you mean the underlying mystery?
I came up with a few .. but who knows.
1. The plane really crashed, they died and they are in Purgatory
2. This whole time they've been on the plane and it's all a dream of Jacks
3. Aliens kidnapped them
4. They went through a wormhole/ bermuda triangle
5. They are in an alternate universe/ dimension that looks like their own
Who knows at this point where this is going. I am watching and think I finally get a handle on it, and something else happens to throw me for a loop.
Is Locke good? Is Locke bad? Are the others good or bad?
I just wish they didn't put so long between seasons because well lets just say the series title FITS some days....

Every idea I've come up with has been dismissed by the writers and producers. So far they have started that:
1. It's not a dream.
2. It's not all in someone's head.
3. They are not dead, in purgatory or hell.
4. Aliens are not involved.
5. It's not time travel.
I've run out of ideas and am just sitting back and enjoying the ride.
I thought that they were in purgatory, but who knows, I mean they can't be in hell because some people like Locke, like being there, but some people don't. Who knows.
