I think Colten has a great voice, and i will ttly buy his Cd (if he even makes one, thanks to simons for his *kind* words) if he had some good lyrics!

Yes he was - he didn't need to say that to the guy, he was just voted off and could have done with a bit of encouragement not a cruel comment, he looked close to tears poor lad...
Simon should just have said nothing if he didn't have anything nice to say...

I think Simon is pretty much right on about everything he says. Nobody else has the cajones to say it, but Simon does. I wouldn't buy that kids CD. Sorry.

Simon is usually right Colton has a decent voice but no business trying to make a career of it unless weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs are to his liking...
No. The kid had an awesome voice. But, A.I. has been going long enough to know that it takes more than just an awesome voice. He could probably look into some other area of performing, musicals, stage plays, etc. But, as cranky and evil as Simon is, the guy can pick a recording artist.
For example, Jennifer Hudson had an awesome voice.. Simon didn't really like her. But she's great in the movies she's had. I loved her. But, in retrospect I don't think I'd ever buy her album. Same for him. I thought he sounded good. But, never thought about voting for him.
i think he told it how it is....he spoke the truth and said what he thought. thats what i like about simon he says whats on his mind and thats what the judges are there for.
When they voted for the top 24, Colten and Kyle were the last two guys sent in. They picked Colten but, if you remember, Simon said he did not vote for Colten. He wanted Kyle. I think that Simon didn't really like Colten from the start so I'm not surprised by what he said. I think he was kind of glad that Colten was in the bottom two.

yeahh, i think he was, he still has alot of time to get better so he probably will if he dusnt take simons advice.....i hope he dusnt!
