What will the producers do to make sure David Archuleta doesn't win American!
Question: Let's face it, they don't want him to win - the men who have won AI have been commercial flops. Plus the producers want to make it a real competition, so they'll make him sing all different genres of music until they find one he can't sing, then they'll exploit it like mad.
Either that or they'll let Kady and the other girls start wearing bikinis on stage.

nothing. hes immensely popular, a cute lookin guy, and has a great voice. his personality is a 10 and hes extremely marketable. why would the producers derail that? they would be foolish.....as for the past flops, look at the douches that came out: Taylor Hicks, Clay Aiken, Justin Guarini, Ruben Studdard, William Hung (ha) etc. Even though i cant stand Daughtry he is the lone success from male singers.
I hope he wins. He has my vote.
what will they do to "derail" him? I don't think they'll do that...he's one of my faves out of all the contestants this season. He's young, he has a really sweet and not too over confident personality, he's got that special something that attracts you to him, and not to mention one of the best voices. I guess 'cause of his age and of course talent, he's one of the few who can take old songs like these from the 60's and 70's and make it sound modern, like something you'd hear on the radio today.
I think (or at least, I hope) he'll be consistent throughout the season and keep doing good, like miranda doolittle did, uh, two seasons ago, I think (can't remember) She was great...i think there was just one time simon didn't like her. if you're saying when will that moment come for archuleta, then i don't know...I think even if it did happen, people will still vote for him cause I think most people find him interesting and inviting, and he has that "it" factor that makes him so appealing.
Vote for the worst is not supporting him though.

he's not going anywhere anytime soon .....its all about the rateings......everybody likes him....as long as he's on the show.. fox will get rateings which means= cha ching ......use to watch american idol but now its a completly joke
