Question: Why does everyone hate Liz and Kate? i actually like thoese characters...the ones i cant stand is Sam and Carly....actually i take it back i like sam a lil but i cant stad Carly...so i was just wonding why everyone disliked them so much

I agree! Yes, Liz lied, but her lies were never to intentionally hurt anyone. Why don't people see that? Can anyone really look back and pick a moment when Liz lied just out of spite or revenge? No, because there isn't a time! She may not have been right to lie like she did, but she was totally pushed into it! Lucky started the whole mess by cheating on her and getting sleazy with Maxie all over some drug addiction. Liz was innocent and never asked to be hurt like that...so she got some comfort in Jason's arms and was handed the misfortune of getting pregnant, but she did not cheat! She thought her marriage was over because Lucky had really screwed her over. I could go on about this, but I would really start to ramble about it!

Your guess is as good as mine! I love them too! They are decent women and the things people pick on Liz about are less offensive than what Sam has done and Liz doesn't do things to people just because she didn't get her way, she never delibrately hurts anyone. Kate is sweet and brings out all the good that Sonny tries to hide, he is more playful and wants to do right by her. I love that she is able to give us a glimpse of the boy that Sonny was before the mob took over.
I LIKE Kate. She is saavy, she is beautiful, smart, courageous, hip and happening. I HATE Liz because she is a liar, goody-two-shoe, and hypocritical.
I actually like them both. I don't like Carly shes such a fake.
i don't know liz is like one of my favorite characters. and i really like kate too. sam and carly both should have been killed off long ago
I do not care for Elizabeth. She thinks she can lie and get away with it. But - i also like Kate and i love SAM too. Sam also is strong and independent and she will stick up for what she believes in. And - that goes for carly too. Elizabeth also thinks that she is protecting her kids from jason. The only thing she is protecting is her affair with jason. Plus - Elizabeth is stopping jason from claiming his son which is also wrong too.
I really like Kate, but I cant stand Liz. She is so whiney and weak. I hate that she is always running to Jason for help and telling on Sam and Carly whenever they argue with her. But Rebecca, the actress that plays her is beautiful and has flawless skin.
i dont mind kate at all. i think shes pretty interesting.
i love carly and sam though. they are by far my favorites. [and maxie because shes awesome] idk why i still like sam when they portray her as such a bad and mean character. but i guess i still see her like when she was with jason.
but liz.. i cannot stand. i just wanna leave the room when she comes on.
ok. first - they make her out to be such a GREAT mother when you hardly see her with her kids. and i know that its a soap opera and everything so they focus more on her and not her kids. but if they wanna make her seem like the great mother that they currently do.. they need to show her with them more often. and plus - when they do show them, its only for the purpose of putting jake right in jasons arms. and thats because they are completely overworking the storyline of jake and liz and jason. liek when she brought him into the hospital to see jason.. i was like wow are you kidding?
second - shes always with her lover jason. and when shes not with him, shes constantly thinking about him or talking about him. its ridiculous how much she claims to be in love with him.. when only a few months ago she was with lucky.
third - she only thinks about herself. ok, that may be a little extreme. but heres an example. when jason went to get his hands fixed in seatle, she pouted constantly saying how much she'll miss him and hinting that he shouldnt go and making him feel bad and blah blah blah. she'd rather jason stay with her then get help for himself. she focuses so much on jason and being with him that all other things are put on hold. its really quite pathetic when you think about it.
the writers who make her so jason-obsessed really changed elizabeth's character. they make her seem so dependent on jason and it makes her lose the independence that the character once had, which made her better in my eyes.
ill admit, i really used to like liz. but ever since she started obsessing with jason, my opinion of her has gone way down.

It seems to me that people that are little witches on soaps seemed to be admired or liked. Those that are goody two shoes are not.
Liz and Kate are pretty much goody two shoes. But, if they do one thing wrong it will never be forgotten, but a person like Carly who is constantly interfering in other people's business and being the biggest witch possible is admired.
Honestly don't get it. Especially the crap that Liz had to go through with Lucky, but heaven forbid she act like a human being and have a one night stand, she will never be forgiven and end up being the worse person on earth. Meanwhile Sam and Carly have done things 10 times worse than her ,over and over, and it's ok and everyone thinks that it's just fine.

Kate Howard is my favorite! She is so complex and has that dark,secret past. She has a good heart but isn't afraid to be a lil bitchy. She is beautiful, and Meagan Ward is a great actress.
Oh, Poor Elizabeth! Her character is SO weak. Always playing the victim and never taking the blame.
I think cause Liz acts a little to self righteous at times. I like Liz, but when she starts acting like she's so sweet and innocent I remember her from when she first showed up in Port Charles and was very manipulative and slutty. Kate is okay. Kate has the potential of being strong, but for some reason the writers always make Sonny's women seem so needy and helpless.
Sam and Carly act too needy all the time so they get on my nerves. I like them when they are in charge. I can't stand Robin....she is all so self righteous and goody goody and very boring. My favorite is Alexis...she is a strong character and dosent' take crap from anyone.
I like Liz myself but everyone thinks she is a goodie goodie. I hate Sam. She never pays for anything she does.. She gets pregnant by sonny for the hell of it. Then lets Liz's child get kidnapped. Carly makes my skin crawl. And Kate is boring.
