Am I the ONLY human being who hates American Idol AND Dancing With the Stars?!
Question: I know I will get shot now. But these two shows to me are stupid and boring. I just want reassurance that there is nothing wrong with me, should I go check myself in somewhere or are there "others" out there?? HELP!!

If u do i will check myself in too!...Both shows are crap!...Now i am a reality junky but them shows make me sick!...they are so outrated. Dancing with the Stars....they make money already do we really care if they can dance...American Idiot...i mean Idol is good 4 laughs 4 the auditions but geezz!...the people they pick are ugly and cant sing! i use 2 watch like the first couple of seasons but after that wan wan wan wan!

no you arent . in fact i do sometimes watch it once or twice. but then i just hate it after cuz i not intrested in singing and funky stuff. im more of the outcast person.hating everything in my way.........just dont like singing or dancing....
Well, you're entitled to you're opinion. I enjoy watching American Idol, but there's nothing wrong with you for not liking it or Dancing With the Stars. I might not like the TV shows you watch, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with me, either. = )

I used to watch Idol...but this is the second year I have given it a pass. I have never watched dancing with the stars, so you are not alone.

I agree with you on the Dancing with the Stars show, I pretty much don't like it. But with American Idol, it's okay this season but during the writer's strike it was really the only thing on that was appealing. So now I have to see who wins since I'm so far into the season. However, it's still not as good as it was the 1st, and 4th season. But no, there's definitely nothing wrong with you. I share your pain. I'm so sick of seeing so many posts about who got kicked off and everything when it's on the Yahoo homepage.

You are not alone! I tried to watch Idol once and I didn't make it through one show. I know how you feel though, sometimes it feels like you must be the only person in the world who can't stand it.
I'm with you! I loathe both of those shows.
There are better programs on the tele and it boggles my mind that they both have such a large following. Just goes to show you that we [Americans] will watch anything!
