Does Guiding Light always look so weird?!
Question: I don't watch the show, but I was just flipping through channels and came across it. It looks like it was filmed by a 12-year-old with a hand-held camera. What's up?

I haven't watched Guiding Light in years, but I caught a few recent episodes on youtube the other day and I thought the camera work was awful! I had heard about the new format change with the show leaving behind the sets and filming more on location, but I don't think it helped much. Everything seems worse and If I had the slightest hint of wanting to tune in again, the camera angles have killed that interest. I think it would end up annoying me quite a bit.
yeah it is there new format...I personally dont like it. My 10 year old does a better job keeping the camera straight!!
It is some stupid new camera technique. AMC used it a few years back and it was terrible it was like being motion sick!
I think it looks crazy , like a bunch of teenagers making a home video. I also can see why they did it, I guess it does look more " Life Like " for the fans.
I love GL and I wouldn't stop watching it for anything !
budget cuts resulted in changes in the way the show is filmed and edited.
i love the out door shots but i hate everything else.
I have noticed that also.I don't know what has happened.great question tho.
