I have to agree, it is messed up. What child decides on their own, at eight or nine years old, that they want to be a star? It is the parents that push them. Someone posted a link on here recently that went to Rocky's website. She is an actress...well, the stuff she's been in is not anything I had ever heard of. Her daughter does not have any talent. All she says is, "I just want to be rich and famous." I wonder where she heard that before? From her mom, that's where. It is terribly sad. That little girl is going to have so many problems as she grows up.
I can't help but feel that Rocky is shooting for a spin off of this show...a Rocky Reality show...the life of Rocky. I really hope this doesn't happen. I can't stand the woman. Not that any of the moms are that much better, but Rocky sort of takes all of this to a whole different level. I feel very sorry for her daughter.
If you think this is scary, you should check out some of these shows that they have on periodically about the behind the scene stuff at beauty contests for children. It is absolutely frightening.
Why can't parents just let their kids be kids? Children don't need this kind of pressure.

Haha yeah I've watched a couple of episodes. It's pretty sad how the moms are pretty much living through their kids. The kids don't always seem like they're doing what they want to be doing. It's also sad the way they treat the other kids.
Then again- what did you expect to come from a show with Danny Bonaduce as the host? haha
They really are very cold, I stopped watching it because it is so hard to watch kids being puppeted around in the frantic chase of their parents' dreams.
What kid really wants to go through that, and even if they say they do, it's really just their parents teaching them another line. Go outside and play for heaven's sake!

The moms are just mad that they themselves could never make it in Hollywood so now they are forcing their kids to do it for them. They say that the kids really want to do it but how could they not when that is all the parents are shoving down their throats.
That show is awful! First of all, who would take advice from Danny Bonaduce? He was on one show as a child. He never did movies or anything else! His career has not been successful, unless you count trainwreck reality shows?!?
The mothers on there are awful, and that Rocky is crazy. I'm glad she is finally gone!
