Have you been watching the new benidorm series?!
Question: i was wondering if anybody knew if it was actualy shot in benidorm and if it was what hotel did they use?and what part of benidorm?thanks for your help.

Apparantly it's at the Sol Pelicanos Oros - and I read a report in the paper last week that loads of people have been asking for that hotel specifically when they are booking their holidays to Benidorm so they can be where it was filmed.
One of the guys from the series said that it was packed when they were there filming and it took a while to get each scene as the real holidaymakers kept trying to get in the scenes. He said that the pool had tape across the middle when they were filming on their side (with the pool bar), and people kept swimming under the tape to try and get in it.
I do love that programme - and it's so flippin true.
Went to Benidorm a couple of years ago and stayed at an all inclusive - and as per any holiday I've been on - went out and about to check out the area and surrounding areas but by the end of the week there were people getting on the coach who hadn't left the site all week - not once - just cos it cost money and they'd paid for All Inc. Brits abroad, hey!

The show is filmed largely in the Pelicanos/Ocas. It's a true reflection of the shennanigans that us Brits get up to in Benidorm. I love it! The hotel is based in the Rincon de Loix area, which is a few hundred metres from the Levante beach. Considered to be in the new town rather than the old town, which has the Poinente beach. Take a trip there, You will either love it or hate it, I suspect you will be pleasantly surprised...
up above you have your answers for where it is filmed,but i have to say it is class,its so funny,the only down side to the programme is its not on long enought,i laugh from start to finish,i didn't see last years episodes,but i will make sure i don't miss this series,
