OMG!!!!!! There are like, 10000 reasons!!!!! more than that probably but I'll give a few:
1) He is original and unique!.
2) He is easily distinguishable from the other competitors!. (No, not just because of his dreads;) Because he has a style that is all his own!.
3) He can take any song and "Jasonify" it (aka, he makes every song he sings his own)
4) He has such a sweet personality from everything I've seen!. He's shy and humble, when the judges are praising him AND when the judges are criticizing him!.
5) He is so funny and laidback, just thinking about him or watching him always makes me laugh, even on elimination night when I'm about to die because I'm so worried for him!.
6) In an interview on americanidol!.com he said that he thinks the most important thing in life is to help others no matter how it turns out for you!. :)
7) He's is soooooo cute! I know that's not a good reason he should win but I can't help but adore his eyes, they are so gorgeous! (and his smile too!)

I think he's really talented & I LOVE his style of music & his voice, but he can't be compared to David Cook or David Archuleta, for that matter!. The fact that he is unique doesn't qualify him any more to be the winner than does David Cook's vocals & David Archuleta's personality!. I am a huge Jason Castro fan, but I don't believe he is American Idol winner material!. He needs to find a very supportive record label that will allow him to do his own thing!. He could also become a huge casion/hotel star!. I'd love to see him performing at a luau or garden party!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
