greg was due to get the results of the dna test, but he wanted the answers over the phone!. the people wouldn't give them so he said he'd go into the hospital to get the results!. but instead he and mel packed their suitcases, and got their passports ready, greg got jake to book a taxi (which turned out to be driven by shadrach) to go to hotton (they pretended that their car was broken down and that they wanted to go shopping)!. so mel, greg and arthur went off in taxi (minus their luggage - jake was going to bring to the airport later), jake rang them 10 minutes later and pretended to be a guy that was going away on holidays, one that greg wanted to see (I think he said he was a plasterer), and he asked shadrach to take them to the airport instead to meet this guy!. when they got to the airport they told shadrach to keep the meter running and that they'd be right back!. but when they ran off they forgot their passports in a bag in the back of the taxi, shadrach called them back, but removed arthur's passport from the bag and kept it!.
in the meantime the people from the hospital came looking for greg and ashley went to mel's house and jake said they were just gone shopping in hotton!. hillary noticed suitcases in the hall and paniced, jasmine told ashley jake told her in the cafe earlier that greg and mel had booked tickets for spain 2 days before!. so ashley raced to the airport!. greg and mel couldn't get on the flight because they didn't have arthurs passport!. so they had to return with ashley to emmerdale!. hillary had called the cops!. the hospital people told greg he was daniel's father!. everyone was crying!.
as val knows about rosalind and eric, eric asked rosalind to tell val nothing happened between them, but val copped on that it was rosalind all along who was behind the blackmailing and she made rosalind pay back the money & extra or she'd go to the police!. shadrach was meant to be having a meeting with gennie but because of all the arthur business he was late!.
and in the end mel said she needed to change arthur so asked donna (the cop) to escort her home because ashley wouldn't let her out of his sight!. but she asked donna to get something upstairs & when donna came down she had disappeared with arthur in her car!. she ran to ashley's looking for mel and told ashley mel had disappeared in her car with arthur!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
