Don't you hate it when shows have a good thing going, and then they go and ruin it like the did in the "epilogue" of tonight's episode!?
The whole 5 years later thing!.!.!.that's like a slap in the face to fans who love the characters, and now they changed it all!. I'm mostly upset about Susan's situation!.!.!.I hope they explain the rest! All i know is, I liked the show the way it was, I think they're just trying to be "controversial"Www@Enter-QA@Com

As revealed in the spoilers for the season finale, next season takes us FIVE years into the future and stays there!. Lynette's kids will be either written out or recast, while Mrs!. McCluskey's hard of hearing!. Bree's well on her way to becoming the next Martha Stewart!. Carlos remains blind!. Katherine is still living on Wisteria Lane!. Edie returns to Wisteria Lane, having also gone through significant change as well!. Susan has a new man, played by Gale Harold!.
Gone from the show: Julie, Danielle, Dylan, and the actors playing Lynette's kids!. Lynette's kids will be recast for season 5 and will be juvenile delinquents; the kids who've played them til now may or may not be back for a few flashbacks next season!. Mike may or may not be back!. (This was also said of Mike after season 1 and season 2, so who knows what's really happening!.)
Say hello to Kaila Say and Danielle Baltodano, who are playing Gabrielle's daughters Juanita and Celia!. Gabrielle will be frustrated her kids don't live up to her standards of beauty!. (Gabrielle's hardly living up to her own standards of beauty either!)

My guess is that a lot of what we just saw in those flash-forward clips was purposely taken out of context to confuse/mislead the viewers!.
For example, the flash-forward made it look like Gaby and gone frumpy and had kids, when in reality she may have just been babysitting for a relative!.

I think maybe the last few minutes of the show, the time warp, might have just been there to confuse us!. Maybe the show will pick up at its normal pace and time frame and what not, but someone in the next season premiere will wake up and say "what a crazy dream I just had" or something!. It has happened in soap operas before!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They want a fresh start!. I like the idea of the Scavo kids being teenagers!.

Teri Hatcher was on The View this week and said the time jump was part of the season finale!. I think Marc Cherry is trying to mix it up a little because the ratings have been down, compared to earlier seasons!. I guess we will know more in the fall!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
