Cook had more talent as a performer and a musician, he wasn't afraid to try something new and was great on stage!.
Now I don't get why people say he is that unique, he is somewhat unique but he sounds like every rocker to me, so yes he definetely deserved to win but not as much as you think he would have!.
Archuleta is still young and has plenty of years ahead of him, Archuleta is easily the more talented vocalist, (which is what American Idol is about, finding the next best singer), and I bet you wouldn't find anyone out there that sounds like Archuleta!. I think Archuleta didn't win because of his song choice, if he had mixed it up more he would've for sure had it!. He wasn't as risky as Cook but IF he had mixed up his songs, people would be marking for him!. Not sure why people says he has no stage presence, he's got tons of charisma and he's great with the camera!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Absolutely!!! He deserves it and both guys are great but David A!. seems too immature to me!. They will both do just fine!. It touched my heart for David Cook to break down a little because his brother has cancer and was in the audience!. He did it for his brother because his brother talked him into trying out for American Idol!. His brother tried out but didn't make it but pushed David to try out , as he was just there for support!. It would have been a shame if David Cook never tried out and now he's the rightful American Idol!. I believed in him so much that I counted my votes each week by using hash marks!. I sat at the phone until the end and voted for David Cook 1000 times! Rock on David Cook! Rock on! What a night!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, Cook has the talent, he knows how to make a song his own, without pushing over the edge, Archuletta, just sings, he is basically what I would call a robot, do whatever!. Cook has the stage persona and the talent to make it work!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
