Question: So who still watches the old Doctor Who!?
Because i have a feeling that there are a lot of people who only watch and know of the recent stuff!.!.!. because seem to like the older stuff a bit better, because now-a-days it seems to be hollywoodized majorly! Like Time-lord meets girl, girl falls in love with time-lord and so on!.!.!. Because i didn't see much of that in the older stuff!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I absolutely agree with you! I grew up watching the old series - well mainly through old VHS videos and reading the novelizations - but you're right about the whole Timelord meets girl thing - the Doctor has hooked up with more girls in the four years of the new series than he ever did in the 26 years that the old series ran for!. In fact, did he ever hook up with anyone in the classic series!?!?
I love the old series & still watch it because, despite the poor budget, the stories were all about the aliens and the sci-fi and drama - and I never, ever fancied the Doctor in the old series - David Tennant distracts me way too much in the new series!! : )Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am on season 2 of the classic series and have seen all of the new series!. Well, if they didn't have all the special affects and stuff then not many people would probably watch it!. I hate to say that but it's the truth!. Society is used to the "Independence Day" type graphics, so that's what it has to compete with!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There is a Dr!. Who CLUB in my town -- they call themselves the "Refugees of Gallifrey"-- they meet every other weekend (I think) -- I've never been to the meetings, but from what I understand, they watch the old OLD stuff -- the PRE-Tom Baker stuff -- then sit around and discuss Cybermen and Daleks and the Master and all that geek stuff!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
