Doctor Who is one of my favourite shows & I think Supernatural is brilliant too!. It's about two brothers who hunt evil entities like demons, werewolves, vampires, spirits, etc!. but of course there's a lot more to it than that!. It sounds a bit cheesy but it really works well!. The show has it's own sort of mythology and there are some great story arcs running through each season!.

Or Seasons 1 & 2 are available on DVD from Amazon and Season 3 will be available in the UK from 25 August!.
also - as you seem to like comedy and you like Doctor then what about a comedy written by Stephen Moffat!?!?!? 'Coupling' is a brilliant series - especially seasons 2 and 3!. When I watched the first episode of season 2, I've never laughed so much (except for when I saw Monty Python & the Holy Grail - best comedy I've ever seen!)

Dexter is pretty cool and interesting - if you don't mind that the lead character is a serial killer!. It's on Showtime with edited repeats on CBS!.

Chuck is a great new show!.
Fall's coming up so i'd suggest watching as many new shows as possible!. The simpsons isn't over!.!.!.just so you know it's been renewed for season 20!.
