Ben was looking for a girl to sleep with so his friends suggested Amy!. He asked her out and they start dating!. He tells her he loves her the first dat, and she says she loves him back!.
Amy's best friends accidently tell Ben's friends that Ricky and Amy slept together and then everyone finds out that she's pregnant!.
Ben finds out, and offers to marry her!. His father is all for it, and tries to convince Amy's parents to let them!.
Ricky (sex addict who was molested as a child and in the foster system) has a friends with benefits relationship with Adrian (smart girl, who gets around, and a majorette for the band but pretends to not care about school), but that goes a little sour when Ricky sets his sights on a girl way out of his league, Grace!. Adrian got jealous!.
Grace (good Christian girl who is saving herself for marriage) has a falling out with her Christian boyfriend who cheated on her with Adrian!. He tries to get her back, and they date secretly because Ricky pretended to date her while she and her boyfriend really dated, but that doesn't last because her parents found out!. She and Ricky have become close, because he has convinced her that he's a Born-Again Christian!. Grace's father is a doctor married to Amy's father's ex-wife!.
We also found out that Amy's father was cheating on his wife for Adrain's mother and Adrian found out that it was Amy's dad her mother had fallen for!. So Adrain and Amy sort of became friends!. (even though Adrain was only being nice because the guy she was crazy about was the father)
and in the last episode (the one last week not last night);
Amy was going to get an abortion but decided against it!. And we found out that her mother had her when she was a teen and her father (kind of like Ben) rescued her by marriage!. And now that the parent's relationship is going bad she doesn't believe Amy and Ben should get married at a young age!.
