Ya know!.!.!. they probably don't, now that I think about it!. Then again, it's probably better if they do!. I mean, just because their bodies can heal and regenerate doesn't mean they need to overwork themselves!. It would be a hell of a thing keeping a starving body alive with no fuel to burn!.
And by the by, it's never been EXPLICITLY stated or shown that Sylar actually has to eat the brains!. It may turn out that he simply has to be exposed to the brain matter directly!.

I think that they would get hungry but they wouldn't have to eat because if they starved to death, they would just be able to grow another stomach or whatever!. (lol so gross!)

as for sylar!.!.!.!.!.sylar didn't have powers until he started killing those who did and eating their brains to consume their powers!.
