Question: Tv soap Opera/drama essay!?
I am writing an essay about tv soap opera's and dramas and i have done a bit but i need more information on it!.
Please please help me if you know something about soap opera's/drama!.

Even though the soaps are kinda goofy, they are pure Shakespeare in some cases!. Dramatic irony for example -- that's when all the audience knows something that the rest of the characters on stage (or in the soap opera) don't know!. That's what makes them so addictive!. The audience knows all this stuff about a character, but the rest of the players do not!.
Shakespeare used it alot; so do the modern soaps!. Like Romeo and Juliet, for example!. The whole audience knows that Juliet is ALIVE and will wake up -- but Romeo doesn't, so the audience is just having a fit trying to get Juliet to wake up or Romeo to toss the poison away, and !. !. !.he takes it, and she wakes up!. "Pure soap opera" and a splendid example of "dramatic irony"!.

-People break up but the "supercouples" normally get back together!.
-Soap Operas ARE drama!.!.and are probably the best thing on TV!.
-Many incorporate wordly issues into their storylines!.

soaps can be hard work they tape an entire show every day 5 days a week 52 weeks a yr

One interesting point of soaps is how someone can die and then mysteriously reappear next season!. lol You could try a google search on soap opera plots!. They seriously have so many different things it hard to narrow down a specific plot!. Good luck with your paper!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i no that some of them are stupid and addictive!.!.!.like Passions for example worst soap ever but it is very addictive, i mean its hilarious not dramatic, most soap's are like that to those who dont normally watch themWww@Enter-QA@Com
