Ahh now then the T!.V licence fee doesn't just cover the tellyprogs it funds things such as signal technology/ satellite and stuff!. So whilst I agree if you want to sit watching Loose Women ( I know that's your fave) you should be entitled to a partial refund!.

Personally I'd pay double just because I don't have to watch adverts!. I love the BBC!.!.!.worth it for Cranford alone :-)

Anyhoos don't you get if free now you are 80!?

AURORA-Don't you dare gang up on me with this old miscreant! You vile pair!.!.!.!.and to think I picked you two first above all others to be my contact!. You're both sacked :-)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have always wondered this, after all, I don't watch soaps, reality tv, or any of the ridiculous Saturday night Pop Idol, X-Factor, Come Dancing rot that they seem to think the country loves!.

Quite frankly, I would only be watching House, Sex and the City (which are repeats so should be cheap), some of the Archaeology programmes or nature programmes and such as like or historical programmes (not Uk Tv History war type ones)!.

I totally agree with your idea! Could you sort it out please!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

You have to pay a for a "TV license"!? I assume you live in the UK!. Is this a license to own a TV or to obtain programming!? Is it paid to the government!? I live in the US and we don't have a TV license fee here, broadcast TV (ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS!.!.!.) is free; if you want cable or satellite, you must pay for that!.

Now I am curious! Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like paying that much either but I do prefer BBC especially for the TV dramas and music on the radio!. I think this is one area where it would be justified to reduce or get rid of the fee for pensioners!. It would be greatly appreciated and, after all, we have been paying the full fee for ever!.

That Haz is a bit cheeky isn't she!? LOL
80 indeed!!!!!

I'm off to watch Strictly Come Dancing now!. See what I meanWww@Enter-QA@Com
