Question: How can I encourage her to watch this !?
Quite *often* when I phone to speak to my *son* my daughter-in-law will answer the phone and I can hear the *dreadful* sounds of *Eastenders* in the background!.
Watching this *soap* is a dreadful habit because it is set in London and anything to do with the *south* *should* be discouraged!.
I have told *her* she should watch Emmerdale which depicts the gentle side of Yorkshire life with family harmony and *love*!. I have also indicated my grandsons should watch this while having a glass of *warm* milk before bed!.
I have also told her to watch Heartbeat and any programme with Alan Titchmarsh!.
How can I make my daughter-in-law see sense about her TV viewing!?

well moan, i think you need to nip this in the bud straight away!. there are *terrible* evils in *london*, they all wear teflon coated pants in the day, no pyjamas at night, eat take aways, have foreign holidays that involve *flying* and worst of all, let their kids stay up half an hour later at weekends!!!! you should go and fetch *your* boys and take them to go and watch a *good* wholesome leeds match!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is impossible to change someone!. They have to want to change their behavior!. All you can do is try to show her or point out to her that maybe your program is better and why!. Then maybe she will realize it and then start to watch!. Good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com
