Why does Elvis sing "satisfactioning" instead of "satisfying"!
Question: A Little Less Conversation
(Words & music by Strange - Davis)
A little less conversation, a little more action please
All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me
Is it a real word?

ahahaha. Because Elvis is Elvis and Elvis could do whatever he wanted. Plus, satisfactioning and action rhyme more than satisfying and action does.
...and no, I don't think it's an actual word.
Dunno and it's a little too late to ask him now (unless you can contact the moon, of course).
Anyway, as you pointed out yourself, the words are Strange.
it's not a real word, but it rhymes with 'action' in the previous line.
Maybe he failed english? I don't think it's a real word but I make up words too.
I think because of it′s a longer word it fits better in the music?
If you said
A little less conversation, a little more action please
All this aggravation ain't satisfying me
It really don't sound as good as saying satisfactioning. It works with action. I don't think it's a real word.
I think it just fitted in better!
It just sounds better
"Elvis is God!"
