I bought a car equipped for xm, but I want Siruis, I am asking if the anteanea thats on the car will work for Siruis.
Answers:
Depends on The Make and Model Of The Car and if its a GM With On-Star, Most Cars Might Have A Problem. The Antenna On the car usually works but will need to get a new tuner in the car. Which usually runs over 100 bucks plus installation. I would take it to Bestbuy, Circuit City or someone who installs that and ask them.
Also, If you didnt hear, XM And Sirius anounced today that if you have a XM Receiver you will be able to get a selected Amount Of Sirius Programing on a XM Receiver, they are going to offer 6 different packages for people with current radios. Thats if the merger happens. Personally, I would wait until then so you don't spend all that money for something that will be the same anyway. Contact me for more infomation on that.
