What jutsu did naruto use that almost killed jirayia?!

The instance where Naruto first used his four-tailed form was triggered by an attempt at unlocking the seal; Almost causing Jiraiya's death, leaving him with a scar in his chest. However, before battling Pein of Akatsuki, Jiraiya decides to leave the scroll with Naruto in the hopes that he can complete an as-yet unidentified jutsu.

Within Jiraya's body resides a Toad whom has a combination written on a scroll which is within his stomach, by adjusting the combination you are able to unlock some or all of Naruto's abilities, evidently the Nine Tail did not have to be sealed within Naruto however his father the 4th decided the power might have been needed at a later time. Jiraya adjusted the combination slightly to allow a bit of the Nine Tails power to leak out into Naruto however this backfired as Naruto was not capable of controlling this power, this was also the first time Naruto ever experienced the four tailed stage. Jiraya got hurt really bad in the process.

I don't think that he used any jutsu,cause he was in daemon form and might have hit jiraya with a punch or he released a great amount of chakra.But It's just a guess.
