What Batman story's are a must-read?!
Question: I'm kinda new to the ol' Batman thing...But I heard 'Hush' , 'Long Halloween', 'The Dark Knight' by Frank Miller and ' Batman Year One' are all good story lines. What is the best story to read if you're kind of new to Batman.

Hush is really good. So is Batman Fall from the early 90's with Bane.

I've heard that Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns is a really good story. I've read Kingdom Come and it's really good. More realistic, nothing is black and white good and evil, everything is gray, even the super heroes. (Not literally, it's well animated in full color.)

Probably the one where he kills Joker (I HATE evil clowns.)
ANYTHING written by Dick Giordano and drawn by Neal Adams TOGETHER(the originals are a little pricey,so search out the reprints if you can.)
read the superman/batman series and all star batman and robin. those are both really good stories
