If you're talking about the Dattebayo Fansubs, pay close attention to the previews for the next episode. Dattebayo always tells you when the next episode will air in the event that the show will not air in Japan for a week or more. Afterward they post false fansubs, false press releases, etc to mess with all those people who were not paying attention. They will also hold an episode back for a period of time if the fans start giving them crap when the fans didn't pay attention to the delay in the first place. They perform a free service, and don't take kindly to disrespect from those who didn't pay attention.

53 and 54 came out together in Raw format and I have only found 53 subbed so far. I have a feeling it will be available anytime now.

Episode 54 will be released friday night. Dattebayo dubbed that episode separate because Naruto switches to a widescreen format starting with episode 54. That is why 54 was delayed even though 53 and 54 were part of a one hour special.
Also you should note the video quality with 54 gets better too. Here's hoping Bleach does the same.
