It is kind of a toss up at this point as to whether or not Kakashi is done for or not!.
Passing the torch to the next generation is probably the main theme in the Naruto manga!. So, it would make sense for most of the really good ninja from the past generation to die only to be replaced by the children!.
However, Kakashi is also one of the most popular characters!. He moves product, so they are probably not going to be so eager to kill him off!. That, and I don't think his send off was dramatic enough!.
