'blood brothers'...a doc on bruce springsteen reunitin' with the e street band to record new material for his 'greatest hits' collection...
'the history of rock and roll'...a multi-part doc from pbs that does a very good job of tracin' the history of rock music thru the decades...
there's also a fantastic doc on the late singer/songwriter townes van zandt; but i'm havin' one of THOSE moments and can't remember the title...
'joe strummer: the future is unwritten'...great doc from just last year on the founder/frontman of the clash...
and definitely 'standing in the shadows of motown'...the 'funk brothers' finally get the credit thye deserve...
'jazz'...where filmmaker ken burns gives us a concise history of jazz music's first century, one hell of a soundtrack, and never once mentions kenny g!....
Beatles Anthology is a MUST for any Beatles fan or anyone into rock history.
"A Headbanger's Journey" is a great one for heavy Metal's history, but I'm sure will have to be updated in 5 years.
Respect Yourself: The Stax Records Story (damn interesting. I love these kinda documentaries)
