Well like any sign, they have their pros and cons, negative and positive sides..
They are FIERCELY faithfull that is for sure. They won't forget you - good, bad or the ugly -. Once they choose to like you..even if you don't answer for let's say even one year..they will still keep you in mind and will defend you and take your side if they happen to like you. If you do something positive for them.......they will not forget it.........and vice versa !
Feelings run very deep but not as fearsome perhaps as scorpio traits.
Scorpio will attack but at the same time feel so deeply that they could self-destroy at the same time. Too much self-doubt.
Pisces..oh well.......they are hurt...they will remember forever (they are as easily scarred) that is for sure but move on..won't seek revenge.......will just disappear.
AND you always have to consider the rest of the chart anyway.
Cancers are very emotional (women more than men though I think because it rules the moon, home, past, caring for others, subconcious etc) and women are generally more prone to listen to their feelings, emotions, follow their gut instincts than men under the sign of cancer who also listen to ..for ex mercury ..(intellect) etc.
Frankly it is not a sign I know really well.........personally.
They love to be needed. They will be there for you to comfort you if everything goes wrong and listen and prepare you dinner ( boy they love that..the women anyway) but at the same time they are very very very secretive themselves generally speaking.
They do have a strong affinity with the past..antiques, family, genealogy, roots.
But it is a Cardinal sign..so I view them sometimes as passive - aggressive.
The positive traits like any water sign : they have great intuition and are EXTREMELY sensitive.
If offended..they withdraw..but sure let you know you have offended them ( you might scratch your head for a whole month ..what exactly..ooops...you forgot to compliment them on that pie !!)
Lots of "sighs"...to make show that they are upset with you but when you ask them why : it is " NOTHiNG !!". They expect you to be psychic or something.
They can be very very very clingy..tell them you need one hour on your own or just go and visit friends and some will be really offended big way if they are not asked to go along. They just take sometimes everything, everything so personally and can lack rationality.
It is just one sign which gets so emotionally attached that they don't let go. They have to know everything about you and be with you physically all the time. (SOME of them).
On the other hand they can be your fiercest friend and really defend you because they are super protective and when they draw their claws out....
They are super at playing the "martyr game"...like "after everything I have done for you.........blah blah blah ..maybe you did not ask for it in the first place ..but never mind !).
Or the "poor me" thing.......like all water signs really..trying to draw attention . Big thing with them they like to induce GUILT in others You did not do this, you did not do that..but they won't tell you : they expect you to KNOW.
To me ( very fire) : they act like (women SOME !!!!) want to protect you like a kid but in reality...............the opposite happens : you have to treat them like kids......all emotional, temper tantrums, sulking and whatever.. They say " am here to protect you" but in reality they want "protection" from you..weird..
They could display a really scene over absolutely nothing and convince everybody who do not know them...I would give them an OSCAR for that !
They will brood and brood and brood and never let go...
Am sorry am writing mostly negative traits.......but that is my limited experience with Cancer women.
And heck..am open minded enough to recognise on here that some cancer gals are extremely clever and all ...
Cancer men.......I like them....(personally speaking). They mix the feminine and masculine element. Some might look distant or cheeky or whatever..but I have always been surprised when a word of mine meant jokingly was taken seriously. They are really really really caring men.
Am writing my point of view which of course is my own only and of course somewhat biased.
