I have Neptune in exact conjunction with my Ascendant!. It took so long to learn how to deal with the fact that I seemed to easily pick up on what people were thinking!. It took even longer to learn how to push it under the surface so that I could deal with being around people!. On the good side, people with this placement can go into their own little world if things get too harsh!. On the bad side, we may have a bit of trouble realizing when it is time to come out of that personal little world to deal with reality!. There seems to be a positive and negative balance for me with this aspect, like walking on a tightrope!. The aspect gives a great deal of creativity and an ability to use that professionally, but it is a talent which has to be harnessed and kept going in the right direction!.
I find that I tend to be too sympathetic at times to causes that I later find are not as charitable or honorable as I had originally thought!. I think this aspect has a lot to do with it!. I also attract strange persons to me!. I think that goes with the territory!.
I've learned to harness all this creative and imaginative ability into writing, and that has been successful for me!. Sometimes I think I enjoy all the strange people because they make such wonderful characters in stories!.
