Kay i need the answer to this riddle: There are 3 hunters. They go to this lodge to spend the night. The clerk at the front says it's 21$ to stay the night so each hunter pays 7$. The manager comes down to the front desk and asks the clerk if he gave them the hunters special. He needs to give them 5$ back but since he can't split the money between the 3 of them (no spare change) he gives them 3$ back to split and keeps 2$ for himself. Origanally the hunters had spent 21$ but now there's 20$ left. Where did the extra dollar go?
Answers: there is a minipulation of the brain if you think about it they gave $7 and recieved 1 dollar back which is $6 dollars which equals 18 plus 2 is 20 he didnt explain it correctly its an unanswerable question that is mathamaticly true and false its unanswerable. the manager took the dollar
not anything mathmatical, just logic. sometimes when you do the math wrong, like when you mess up the way everything happend, it seems like theres no missing dollar. There is no extra dollar?? I heard this riddle this riddle once a long time ago. I think it was in like elementary school or something. I believe the answer was that the dollar just disappeared mathematically or something. Don't quote me on that one though. There isn't another dollar. It's a trick question, each of them paid $7 (21 total) to begin with, and needs to give them $5 back...he gives them one a piece and keeps $2 for himself.

$21-2-3-16=0 there is no missing dollar in the problem, its out counting system that messes with mathematics that makes the other dollar seem to "dissapear" I heard this one before, and I still stumped there is no extra money
