Why do we sing "Rock a bye baby" to lull babies to sleep....?!
Question: When the song is about putting your baby in a tree and letting the wind crash the cradle to the ground?
Answers: When the song is about putting your baby in a tree and letting the wind crash the cradle to the ground?
Yeah, no doubt...the last thing I'd wanna do is sleep after hearing that!....lol
???
I guess it's to freak the baby out so that it'll go to sleep or you'll torture them
i dont, i sing i love u - barney (thatz hiz favorite show, takes him 2 sleep fast 2)
Same reason we sing London Bridge is Falling Down, and Ring Around the Rosy (about the plague), we are insane.
:(
It just goes to prove that lullabies just need to be sung in a soft voice, but it doesn't really matter what the song is about.
they'll make whatever up to get a baby to sleep even if it doesn't make sense plus the baby doesn't understand what your singing
hmm...i like it when u ask this many questions...i dont know...maybe they were high also when someone sang the song...?
