Haha, I never thought about that. It is rather cruel to name an affliction with a word not easily pronounced by someone with that affliction.

because the word lip is already taken..

cos it would be LIP and the meaning would be different, lisp is when a one say something that is not clear while lip is a part of your mouth, without lip you can't even lisp ?!?

when you lisp it has a s sound to it

lip is already their
