It's hard to even be considered for a job in journalism without some form of journalism degree or education!. There are many people competing for each job so those without journalism education are often the first to be dismissed from consideration!.
The only way is experience!. If you can find a local newspaper to give you a chance based on your excellent writing (as opposed to your education) you will be on that all important first step, and from there you can learn journalism inside out and work your way towards your goals!.
