Who decides what movie trailers are shown before a film in the theatre?!
Question:
Who decides what movie trailers are shown before a film in the theatre?
I took my almost-three-year-old to the movies for the first time to see Ratatouille (a G-rated film) and to my amazement they played a trailer for the Transformers. It was violent and overwhelming for a little girl to say the least and the film itself is rated PG-13. When we went to a G-rated film I expected a G-rated trailer. What gives? Who do I complain to? The theater? Or do I complain to Disney?
Answers:
i'm not sure but that is strange..usually they play appropriate trailers. i would start with the theater manager and see what they have to say. i agree. i took my nephew on a ride at universal and it scared him half to death. g rated films need g rated previews!
