What's this movie: computer program makes ppl geniuses, gets stolen, kid has to do a quiz bowl on talent?

I saw this movie on the television a long time ago; there was a kid who was supersmart because of a computer program/disk/virus/something or other, and he was recruited to join a quiz bowl team. Somehow this program was stolen from him and uploaded somewhere else, and his team won the quiz bowl based on their talent.
