Can someone understand Harry Potter just from watching the movies?
I have never read the books and honestly I hate reading, can someone who has never read the books understand everything or almost everything from just watching the movies.

Yes you could. But truly the books are MUCH better. Maybe you could take out the audio version from your library and listen to them in the car or wherever. They also sell them at the bookstores.
