Who Has Seen The New Halloween Movie?!
Question: Who has seen the latest Halloween movie by Rob Zombie? What did you think about it? I enjoyed it! The only disturbing part of it is my 10 year old daughter looks kinda like the little boy that played Michael in the movie lol!

I was actually suprised, that I liked it. I have hated all the other Rob Zombie movies. I t was really good, I would actually watch it again.

I thought it was really good, but i kept getting a bit confused because of watching the other ones that have been made.
I'm probably the only one who hated the movie. It's a slap in the face to any Halloween fan. Many people have told me to not compare it to the original and that this is supposed to be a new "vision". I have one problem with that, you used the same names and characters (plus a few unimportant characters added). This movie was gore porn. The original Halloween had little to no actual blood and that's not what angers me so much, it's the fact that Michael's family was white trash and all that damn swearing!!!! Not to mention almost every male in that movie had long hair! Nevermind the fact that the second half of the movie felt rushed but all the characters were crap, you didn't care if they lived or died. I wanted Laurie to die, she was rude to Tommy and she was a carbon copy of Linda and Annie. Linda making fun of that other cheerleader; now this is 2007, you think any highschool girl today would've put up with that abuse? NO! She'd be on the ground with a broken nose. But all that is nothing compared to what REALLY made me hate the movie. They gave Michael a motive for killing. In the original it was scary because he had no reason for killling anyone except for him being "evil". They gave him this white trash background, a drunken pedo stepdad, he was bullied in school, and he tortured and killed animals. Was Zombie watching A&E profiles on serial killers because that's what every serial killer had in their lives. Yeah, so original. Don't make Michael human, it takes away from the scare factor. And they also make him like a 7 foot giant whereas the original Michael was of average height and could pass as a normal person despite being evil. What was with Dr. Loomis as well? He seemed more concerned about exploiting Michael (the books he wrote and the lectures) and making money off of him rather than helping/stopping him. This movie sucked so bad. Zombie needs to stick to his style of movies and music. Don't refake movies that don't need refaking. And Rob, for crying out loud, quit putting your wife's naked @ss in every movie! If she were really that talented she'd be in other movies besides yours. Sorry, but it's true. That's my rant. LOL if you enjoyed the movie, more power to you but I thought it was crap.
The movie sucked . . . . the only good part in it was Danielle Harris and that's because I loved her in 4 and 5 . . . .
