What has been the most successful remake of a movie?!
Question: doesn't have to be better then the original but just better then other remakes
Answers: doesn't have to be better then the original but just better then other remakes
With very rare exceptions, why mess up a good thing? With the exception of"Pride &Predjuice"there have been remake after remake that smelled before you even stepped into the theater. Anyone remember"The Hauting",or "Pearl harbor" of"Psycho"? (Ann Heche and Viggo Mortensen AND Jullian Morre'the only bright spot' should've fired their agents for getting them involved in that mess)
Father of the Bride
King kong
I like Pride & Prejudice... i can't really think of any remake doing really good though... :)
Planet of the Apes
i loved the remake of pride and prejudice:D
Matin Scorcese's "The departed" is a remake of the hongkonese film "infernal affairs" and has been infinitley more succesful scooping four oscars including best film. It is also a fantastic film in its own right and i would strongly reccomend it.
ooh i like this question
pride and prejudice
Ocean's Eleven (2001) was waaaay more successful than the original (1960).
Can't say it was better, though.
Batman Begins
Christian Bale vs. Michael Keeton
no comparison.
That would be King Kong which made $547,051,260 world wide.
