I'm a bit late with this, so most of my choices (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles) have been mentioned!. Two more that spring to mind are Class (1983), a hilarious and poignant film with a young Rob Lowe, and Dead Poet's Society (1989), which is a wonderful film that I can't believe no-one has mentioned! Both of these are inherently concerned with love and school, and the nature of friendship!. Speaking of which, my absolute favourite film from the 80's is Stand By Me (1986), which is a beautifully made movie about friendship that I would heartily recommend to anybody!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
