You'll notice when Glinda the good witch floats away she seems to follow the red brick road!. In L!. Frank Baum's books about Oz, he mentions four quadrants with four colors: Winkie Country = Yellow, Gillikin Country = Purple, Munchkin Country = Blue, and Quadling Country = Red!. Glinda is ruler of the Quadlings hence that's likely where the Red Brick road heads!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's never explained where the "ruby" road goes to,except that in the three-strip Techicolor process of the period, red photographed extremely well!. So well, that(if you look closely) many of the MGM actresses had at one time or other, red highlights in thier hair had henna rinses!. One resaon why Lucille Ball(not a natural red-head)turned to the shade and kept it)or some variation)for the rest of her life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It goes to the redneck witch of south's castle!. lol

Edit--- But in all seriousness, I think the road would lead to Glenda's castle!. Since she was the ruler of Munchkin land!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
