I need singing help?!

I need singing help?

i have been singing like all my life and i dont know what to do with my singing. i mean when i get older. i dont have a lot of other interests and i want to go into something with music. I need some suggestions. Thanks!!

There is actually a good deal of demand for certain musical careers...though none of these focus on performing. First off, you may be interested in becoming a school choir director or general music teacher. This would mean you also enjoy kids and teaching. If you are interested in health care, there is music therapy- I believe about 30 schools in the U.S. have music therapy degrees. Finally, if electronics turn you on, you could be a sound engineer...possible to make big bucks doing that!

You could train for any one of those jobs and still try to get into performing. But realize, performing REALLY IS a long shot! Take it from someone who learned the hard way. Get that degree to fall back on first! Besides, the above jobs are very important and satisfying.
