How should I go about purchasing bagpipes... I'm a beginner.?
I would like to know what the best way for purchasing beginners' bagpipes would be... I am very eager to learn to play them and i was a natural on the sax... I know they are a very different instrument but with my prior knowledge in music I may be a little ahead on bagpipes... maybe not. I hear that ebay may be sketchy with musical instruments unless you know your stuff... I have a music store I'll be checking out and I was also considering a rental first... any suggestions?

I would watch out for a rental- since the inside of the bagpipes can get musty- and I hear you can get sick from it (not to scare you off- just might be better to get your own). Fungi growing in the bag of a bagpipe cause lung disease of bagpipers.
