What is the average vocal range for a guy in his late teens?
I've been giving a try to vocal lessons just because I thought it would be neat if I could improve my singing. But I was just wondering, just so I get an idea, what the average vocal range for a male is. Is it 2.5 octaves? 1.5? Thank you very much!

My mates 17 and he has 3.5 octaves and I'm 16 and apparently I have 4 but I can't hold a note to save my life
