What is your favorite Beatles album and song?!

Question:

What is your favorite Beatles album and song?

My favorite album is "Beatles for Sale" and my favorite song is "One After 909". Yes, they don't match, and no, they don't have to.

Beatles-oriented entries only, thanx.

Answers: My favorite Beatle album is the English release on Parlophone called
"Please Please Me".
I hope that it is ok with you that I have a tie for my favorite song on that album.
So, in no particular order:
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET
What could be better! Sung by George, women not mentioned, and what better secret could a guy have than to know that George is in love with him! YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!
THERE'S A PLACE
What could be better! Sung by John, women not
mentioned, and knowing that John can't stop thinking about you. YEAH, YEAH YEAH!!!
They are both gone, but I am still totally in love with them!
Here are the lyrics:
You'll never know how much I really love you.
You'll never know how much I really care.
Listen,
Do you want to know a secret,
Do you promise not to tell, whoa oh, oh.
Closer,
Let me whisper in your ear,
Say the words you long to hear,
I'm in love with you.
Listen,
Do you want to know a secret,
Do you promise not to tell, whoa oh, oh.
Closer,
Let me whisper in your ear,
Say the words you long to hear,
I'm in love with you.
I've known the secret for a week or two,
Nobody knows, just we two.
Listen,
Do you want to know a secret,
Do you promise not to tell, whoa oh, oh.
Closer,
Let me whisper in your ear,
Say the words you long to hear,
I'm in love with you.

There is a place,
Where I can go,
When I feel low,
When I feel blue.
And it's my mind,
And there's no time when I'm alone.
I think of you,
And things you do,
Go 'round my head,
The things you said,
Like "I love only you."
In my mind there's no sorrow,
Don't you know that it's so.
There'll be no sad tomorrow,
Don't you know that it's so.
There is a place,
Where I can go,
When I feel low,
When I feel blue.
And it's my mind,
And there's no time when I'm alone.

There's a place... Let it be, and the favourite song is the ballad and john and yoko I think my answer to both questions would change from day-to-day. As far as favorite album is concerned usually it's Abbey Road but it could be either Let it Be, Revolver, or the White Album on any given day. TOO MANY GREAT songs to be able to pick just one but....I think I really like "I Feel Fine" today. Ohhh... so difficult to choose!

My favourite album would either be Sgt. Pepper, or Revolver.
Favourite song... While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
{with an un-credited, 'Beatlified' Eric Clapton solo!}

{and in return, George Harrison ~ un-credited ~ co-wrote and performed on Cream's song 'Badge'} People often ask this question and for me it is one of the hardest questions to answer.
You see The Beatles music changed so much in such a short period of time that with almost each album there was something new for us to learn.
So in the beginning when Meet The Beatles first came out in the USA I had never heard anything like it. It caught me like a tractor beam and pulled me in.
Then when Rubber Soul and Revolver came out, WOW it took us from just feeling the music to now feeling and thinking about it. All music changed at those moments.
Then when Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band came out there was another aspect only to be followed later on by The White Album and later the fabulous ABBEY ROAD.

So to pick a favorite song is like picking a favorite car.
Each had something special about it and each had improvements.
Now I find I listen to Abbey Road a lot and I also love to listen to Lady Madonna, All My Loving, Across The Universe, You Can't Do That and so I guess I would say that depending on the day my favorite would be different. The Beatles #1's is a great album.
My favorite song would have to be a toss up between Paperback writer and Come together.
