I am not quite sure--approximately 300 33 1/3 RPM records, maybe 200 cassette tapes, about 200 Compact Discs. A few old 78 RPM records stored away, and a couple of thousand songs on my computer not on CD yet. Should mention that most of my collection is pre-1955. I feel the music began to change around then (electric instruments and studio effects) and was no longer the same. Therefore I am a true "classic country" fan. I do not listen to any new country music.
My first cassette was Whiskey Bent and Hell bound I bought it back in 1979 (Still plays like new) since then i have built up a collection of about 900 cassettes and close to 400 Cd's I transfer all my Cd's to hard dr. so i can save the wear and tear on them. on my hard dr. i have close to 15.000 songs all range from country,rock and tejano. My goal is to someday transfer all my cassettes to hard dr. But that will be a project to work on some other time.
Got rid of my 8-tracks long ago, I do have about 3oo cassette tapes, last count, and 5,400 (45 rpm records), and over 3,000 record albums(33 1/3), and I have only 612 cd's so far. Oh yes I'm a big music collector of all types and decades. 40's to the present time, country, rock/pop, swing, blues, R&B, disco, etc....
