Led Zeppelin may not be 'Metal', but they are full of guitar and drums, and 'heavy'.
The precursor to "Master Of Puppets" is called "Ride The Lightning", just as heavy, just as good. Another great CD full of awesome guitar and drum work is "Painkiller" by Judas Priest. Iron Maiden "Powerslave"; Frank Marino "The Power Of Rock And Roll" (not metal but very hard rock and Marino is an amazing guitarist), Black Sabbath "Heaven And Hell", Helloween "The Keeper Of The Seven Keys (parts 1 and 2, two different CDs), and, Slayer "Reign In Blood" are great CDs full of hard and heavy songs.
