Name that song...80's or 70's soft rock?!
Question: I was watching VH1's 40 top soft rock songs, and Although I don't think it made the list, I think there was a bit where they showed other songs, and that is the one that sticks in my mind. It was towards the end of the show. I have no lyrics as I am not sure there was any, the only thing I remember is that it had a trumpet, and it might have been a theme song for a show or a movie.

Could it be "Rise" by Herb Alpert or "Feel So Good" by Chuck Mangione?
Baker street? It was on a commercial...
Look thru the linked list, it may be there.
Theme from "St. Elsewhere"?
Based on the list Princess Leia left, it's "Feels So Good," by Chuck Mangione. It was never a theme for anything; it was a standalone song. And that's actually a flugelhorn, although it sounds similar to a trumpet.
"Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty
