Brooks and Dunn are great and I really do love their music, but they have won it for 6 years!!
I'm glad someone else has had a chance to earn the honors.
When you constantly win something, it begins to mean less and I think you tend to not work as hard for it.

I am glad that Brooks and Dunn got beat out, I think Ronnie Dunn is arrogant...however, I am not happy that Sugarland won, come on.......
No.....I like Montgomery Gentry way better....they deseved to win....Sugarland is just ok...Jennifers FAKE accent gets on my nerves....

Tough category but I was glad to see Sugarland win it. Their facial expressions were great, it was pure shock to them. I love that, Kudos to them!
not I said the layed back country man for this simple reason brooks and dunn has been out longer that group but iam not sayin that they do not make great songs my pa raised me on old classic country like alabama, george straight, doll parton,hank william sr. ect..... ,but all this new stuff that is coming out is all great but it does not compare to the older stuff. The band I will give credit too is rascal flatts.

I had already decided that if Brooks & Dunn won Duo of the Year again this year, I was going to boycott the CMAs. I mean, c'mon.....we get the picture. I do like Brooks & Dunn, but enough is enough. I love that Sugarland got the award. I also think that Montgomery Gentry is LONG overdue for some recognition. I absolutely love their music. They sing songs with meaning (most of the time) and they ROCK! And last but not least, and this has nothing to do with Duo of the Year, but I think Kenny Chesney looks like a turtle....that's all I have to say about that.
