Would it be too cheesy to ask a girl out by singing and playing guitar?!
Question: The two songs I had in mind were Your Guardian Angel by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Down We Fall by Drake Bell. If this is not a good idea, please tell me why. If you do and don't like either of my song choices, list some others.

I would effin hate it. I think it's totally cheesy. Just go right up to her and ask for a date. I once had a man serenade me on my front porch and I was completely mortified, especially since the neighbors were outside.

If you want to go out with a girl, just ask her out. Don't try to impress or anything weird. Be yourself. That's all girls want.
Yes, cheesy. I think it would be more appropriate to ask her out politely first, then after a few dates, that's when its more appropriate to be romantic with the songs. Personally, I would not like anyone singing to me at any time because it puts the pressure on ME. What do I do when you are singing to me? How am I supposed to react? Am I supposed to be impressed? What if I'm not? I'll have to pretend? To me, a much more impressive and romantic gesture would be to write a heartfelt note in a card or express feelings genuinely by speaking from the heart.
It is an old movie cliche, but I think is a really cute idea. You should have a rose to hand to her also!
yeah man i wouldn't do it. you can sing all you want to her and play all the songs possible after you are going out but for actually asking her out i would just stick with asking her to dinner or something.
save the romantic stuff until after your actually a couple.
only if you guys know each other really well and you absolutley KNOW that she wouldn't think you were just.....well.....cheesy
